1. because it is a better store of value than deflating illusory paper money.

2. although they try, the big banks can't ultimately control Gold or Silver.

3. if you take your savings away from Banks they can't create as much paper money & debt via lending.

4. Silver is much cheaper than Gold so buy Silver coins every time the spot price drops.

5. Basically it hurts the banks if you don't participate in their paper scam.
