"What did you find tough to prepare for the role?"
The least I must do to play L was... Well, my make-up specialists and fashion coordinators helped me a lot. I don't look like L myself (pointing at his own face). My face looks ordinary. So they helped me to look more like L. Besides, I learned from the original manga how L was supposed to behave/move. Though of course he doesn't move (in the manga), there are many cuts I can use for references. I myself started with those movements. And the director advised me to sound/speak like L. (grining)
"What is the must-see point of the movie?"
The movie isn't completely faithful to the original manga. There are new charactors appearing in the movie too. I believe audiences will surely draw fun from these changes and hope they enjoy it too. Um, I also didn't wanted to play L as he is (in the manga). So I meant to add a new aspect myself. Well, just a little thing, though.. I'd like people to see it."
