Yep all comes down to the maitenance. Oh yeah how do you feather an engine? I have heard of feathering props but not engines. Get ya facts right. These are not bad aircraft, all series of Dash 8's I mean.

Well, actually, according to wikipedia, they just had a small incident on february 13th 2009, when the landing gear "failed to retract" after take-off...

No ofcourse breaking landingear, lights that go on and of in cockpit, lack of alarm functions for failed attempt to engage autopilot....It doesent´make it a bad airplane... just a airplane I don´t wan´t to fly with !!!

Very probably the accident at Buffalo was, unfortunately, a human error. Let's wait the conclusion of investigations before saying the plane is a "piece of crap".
