  • That looked abselutly devine! Yesterday I spent 2 hours stuffing them leaves and tiny zuccinis, and I was happy that today we're gonna have some cause these taste even better the next day, only to find out that the stuffing for some reason went realyt dry! I mean the rice is cooked through yet so dry and I just don't know what to do :( I tried adding more liquid n microwave them, but that didn't work, what do you reckon? would lying them in a pot again n cooking them work? SOS! lol :)

  • @EmanMorrison, thanks for coming by and leaving a comment. My only guess that your rice turned out to be dry is that you did not have enough liquid to cook it with, lemon juice and olive oil. reheat it by adding a bit of water/lemon juice and olive oil, let it boil then lower the heat and simmer for another half hour , or until most of the liquid is absorbed. good luck!

  • i discovered that cutting the leaves with a pizza slicer works better and it prevents you from breaking the leaf :) just thought id share thanx for posting!

  • @Ishta081 , Thanks for this great tip! i should try it out next time i make stuffed grape leaves. thanks for coming by, watching and leaving a comment.

  • This recipe looks amazing!! i was wonderin if you could give me the measurments of the spices used in the stuffing and on the potatoes. I am afraid of over spicing or the dish being bland. Thanks so much!!

  • mashallah sa7a o hana thats looks yuumyyyy... yeslamo edaki 3ala hal laf al 7elow ramadan kereem

  • @Ibrambobby , i listed the spices "to taste". it is all up to you how much you want to add..i would say a teaspoon of blackpepper (more if you like it spicy) a tablespoon or a bit more of allspice, salt to taste, just like you add to your own cooking. by adding lemon juice and olive oil to it, you will have the taste just right. hope the recipe works out for you.

  • Thanks for posting this delicious looking recipe. I was wondering if you could tell me the measurements of the spices used in the stuffing and on the potatoes. I'm afraid of over spicing or making the dish bland, Thanks so much!!
