Parts of Europe are scrapping their wind farm projects... they are not efficient and the power needed to run them when the wind is not blowing offsets any savings they might have had otherwise.

3. If new alternative energy jobs are there someone has to make the parts for them.

4. Nuclear power was part of the stimulus. The plants are coming.

5. Energy exploration jobs, looking for oil, will inevitably be lost when we run out of it.

6. We should save the oil we have for when the world is low then we make more money.

The technology sort of exists... but is wayyyy too costly to be feasible. With the current methods of producing these "clean" energy sources, they actually produce more waste in the manufacturing process than they save. More time and money need to be spent perfecting them for the market.

This is a farse, a joke, a scam. Neither Obama nor the house republicans really want the most effective energy sources. If they did, we would already be using such low-cost sources. Do you know why? Because clean energy technology already exists; and it has existed for years.

These power hungry bastards will never allow clean energy to flourish. Why? Because it puts power in the hands of the people. Neither side wants that.
