  • I was just wondering if a clear coat could be used as a primer?

  • @KieranTam You could do that it would be kind of the same I expirement all the time but remember the results are not always perfect

  • How many times do u sand it? And what time do u wet and dry it.and what's the kind of paper I use

  • @hotman8511 It really depends on how flat and smooth of a surface you want. More sanding and prep work= smoother surface to paint. I use Testors sand paper if I could find it and make sure the models is DRY after you wash and sand or the paint will not stick correctly

  • if i wet sand my plastic, do i still need to wet sand after it's primed and painted, before the clear coat? or as long as i sand it well before the primer, I wouldn't need to wet sand again?
