  • You know I'm with you 100% Tema-chan. I like I said, I've got two protests tomorrow, and I'm going to every one that I can possibly get myself to. I DID vote, I voted NO. I tore up signs for YES and bitched out anyone who DID vote YES. You're right, they DO NOT have the right to tell us who we can and cannot love. I LOVE my GIRLfriend, and there's nothing they can do or say to make feel that way for another person. Sasu and Naru, you, everyone from Koi, are as good as family to me. We'll kill 8!

  • im right there with you tema. Im LITERALLY disgusted by what america is coming to. im not lesbian or bisexual or anything like that by my oldest sister was for as long as ive been alive so i support gays all the way but i remember when i just moved to the house im living in now, i was about 5. i had a hard time making friends because MY SISTER, who didnt even live with us!, was gay. and i couldnt understand why but now that im older i've cried over this problem and im not one to cry at all

  • whoever that 1 person that disliked this vid they better have bad aim. cuz if they don't then crap them. >:(

  • I know this was 3 years ago but you still have my full support! Prop 8 sucks! :(

  • Both parts of this made want to cry. I agree that gay marriage should be legal in every state. It's sad to see people discriminate against people who are different. To me everyone is the same. I definitely Support gay marriage.

  • @AstroMen2911 You've completely missed the point. This country has a separation of church and state. Religious belief *should* have nothing to do with what is and isn't legal. That is why any religious rhetoric regarding this topic is moot. You would be laughed out of a courtroom if you tried to use that argument.

  • @nekoinu Okay, just wanted to post one more thing that just happened, since I found it humourous. When I clicked to post that last bit, I had to do a captcha, and the last few letters were 'blupig' which made me giggle. I'm not sure what that means, but maybe it's Youtube's way of agreeing with me...

  • (long post is long... Sorry! Maybe I should have just made a video instead...)

Someone should me an Ancient Egyptian wall painting that showed two men in what appeared to be a romantic relationship. Plus, also in Leviticus it says women on their periods are unclean, as is touching the skin of a dead pig. Guess that means we should make football illegal, huh?

Anyway, I think I'm going to stop, since I've typed so much already... Great videos, and my best wishes to you and all of Koi! ^-^

  • and Marriage has changed so much over the years. In Ancient Greece, same-sex marriage was legal. Someone told me that the love of a man was more highly regarded than the love of a woman, and the Spartan Army? Homosexual. Because a man would fight that much harder to save his lover than just a mere comrade. Yeah, the Ancient Greeks were all over same-sex marriage...

And they weren't the only ones. Many ancient cultures had no problems with same-sex unions. So, again, why is it a problem today?

  • but the same rights aren't there... and I'm not saying that we should have to tolerate being separate. Marriage is a word, just like any other. Definitions of words change. We can use 'gay' as an example. It originally meant 'extremely happy', but later came to mean 'morally loose' and then, 'homosexual'. Now, people use it to mean 'stupid'. Words are just letters with sounds assigned to them that we designate to anything and everything. Words aren't that important, honestly...

  • @nekoinu And, of course, same-sex marriage is legal in some of the United States, as well. I don't see Connecticut, Iowa, Massachusetts, or any of the other states in flames for allowing gay marriage? So why is it still a problem?

It shouldn't be a problem. It shouldn't be an issue. It should be legal.

And, I mean, honestly, I think what the most important thing is is the rights, right? I could tolerate calling my union (if I had one) a 'civil union' so long as the same rights were there...

  • -jealous- You're so pretty here... Especially your eyes... /off-topic

Anyway, like I said in the last video (I think) I agree with you 100%. It just boggles my mind the more I think about it... Obviously gay marriage will happen, it's already happened and is still happening. Canada hasn't been swallowed by the sea, Norway hasn't been blown off the face of the Earth, etc. I'm sure if 'God' had a problem with gay marriage, he or she would have done something to those countries by now, ya know?
