Nothing tops a good steak cooked just the way you like it but do you know what all goes into getting that steak to your plate and for that matter how the beef industry has evolved to become more green and sustainable in the process. In this video we take a look at the industry back in the day of the 750-mile cattle drives and how today diets and on-farm production regimes are precisely based on what's in the best interest of the steer and the final result for you the consumer. • lean meat with hormones.

  • @PaiintDriP Thanks for your question! What about eating animals do you think is unhealthy? Meat is a very important part of the diet and US livestock producers provide the world's safest supply of this vital protein. Beef for example is an excellent source of iron, B vitamins, zinc and more and there are 29 popular cuts of lean beef which average about 154 calories per 3 oz. serving. I welcome your additional feedback.

  • @wyoag12 How can eat slaughtered animals be healthy ?

  • Very informative thank you..:)

  • I was upset when I heard about Meatless Monday and am glad to hear that it's about promoting diversity rather than condeming meat, which is a healthy part of any diet.
