Dai Sato, one of Japan's leading anime scriptwriters, gives insight into his creative process, describes his "dream script," and discusses the new features in Eden of the East (東のエデン), an anime series as of yet unreleased in the US, in this interview at Japan Society in August 2009. Mr Satos scriptwriting credits include Ghost in the Shell, Cowboy Bebop, and Wolfs Rain.

  • I think it's great that the artists behind the screen plays and story plots get some attention, because most people tend to focus on the character designer or seijus and oversee people like Dai Sato. Cowboy Bebop is still an amazing masterpiece !
