This is a little demonstration of how Max/MSP can talk to Second Life using a little modified version of SLProxy built using libsecondlife.
Of the many possible uses of this connection, we are using it as part of a research project into music performance in virtual worlds. Sound objects can be programmed with trajectories which are in turn picked up by avatars and fed to the Sonic Lab (a 48 channel diffusion system) for sound spatialization.
haha no sorry, the software i used for capturing video off my screen is in demo mode and cannot capture audio anyway. Perhaps i ought to invest in some software!
