  • She's full of it!

  • @iLuvKats89 Brick and mortar video rental shops are closing here where I live, I don't want an ALL ON LINE model for business. I also work manual labor, which is out-sourced, it's VERY hard getting back to work in Light Industrial and Assembly where I was working blue collar

  • @12GaugeLosAngeles They blame people for just getting unemployment and not job searching, but for one period you were required to show new job prospects when applying, that could be implemented I'd say

  • I'm applying today for my last of two benefit payments, my tax refund allotted for next month's rent. I've been a Dislocated Worker for the full recession and I need to keep a roof over my head, the extensions need to be dealt with swiftly for those still job searching, it's such a difficult task and the money pays my bills, so I don't have to stress over that end of things

  • The (bought and paid for) economists said it and YOU believed it.

You should hear the opinion of economists that aren't on the govt payroll for accurate info.

  • Yeah, we NEED to give our hard-earned money to banks.

    WTF are you talking about?

  • They are laying off teachers in Indiana.

  • as big companies so we can all have the chance to work what our effort reflects! People choose to have jobs to support a living and provide for their everyday needs! Large businesses are clogging up all the work positions available for all who need it!

  • Well, not all small businesses but in general, large industries won't allow me or my fellow college friends to work there (even though we both have great amount of skills/attributes) because they're "freezing" the number of people working there. I did applied to Boeing and other large corporations, but in the end, "oh sorry, economic slowdown; we'll be able to look back at your resume once it picks up". My! I know I speak for a lot of people. Small businesses needs to have the same voice (pt2/3)

  • Big companies are taking over the names of small business! Good grief! I was a sales manager and accountant at Blockbuster. I knew it was bound to happen. Super companies like the online video stores, iTunes, (etc.) are crushing small businesses or the local rental place. :( I always wanted to work at any office of any business (motivator), but because the major companies have a bigger reputation, it's the reason why in the county I live in is increasing the numbers of jobless people.. :(
