MB W126 280SE 0-100

My W126 280 SE accelerating from 0 to 100. The car, from 81', has a 2.8 liter 6 cylinder inline benzine engine. The car is not that fast, but still pretty good for 3500 pounds of 28 year old steel, glass and textile. Note that the transmission doesn't run to the very end of the gear, don't know what to do about it yet.

hello very nice, i have recently bought one of these. how many rev does it do at 100 km/h?

mine does about 3000, is this normal?

VERY, VERY NICE! for a 3 DECADE year old car! I have a 300 SE, which technically has a more horsepower but does not accelerate as smooth as yours. I'm going to replace the clutch, I think that's whats failing, since I already repaired the transmission. Any suggestions?
