NOTE: There seems to be a lot of confusion about the timeline for the DMC games. I have written it down below along with a couple of references.

Wow... I've always considered this game to be just "decent" compared to the first DMC game, but watching these cutscenes and looking back on it... this game was absolutely terrible. The gameplay wasn't bad, but they've completely stripped Dante's personality. I like to pretend that this game isn't part of the first, third and fourth's canon.

Did anyone else notice how strange it is that Dante is suddenly seen as pale in this game? He was pretty tan in the first one.
