@aviatorsbh Compression is only 5.5:1 so it isn't much of a problem

@UGLandrum Hot rodders have been doing this for decades and brand new engines are a call away. Don't condemn anyone for doing FUN shit.
And actually, you can slap a turbo on one of these. These are heavy duty cast iron blocks and have 5.5:1 compression. The only thing you would need to change would be the valves.

You can't just slap on a turbo, you'll probably blow it up... that is a rare piece of history, don't soil it by doing dumb shit like that.

Do you still have a carburetor or direct injection? In case of the carb, how do you prevent the fuel from pre-igniting or knocking because of the compression heat?
