  • I love these guys, but you have to laugh at some of their reviews. sometimes they just miss the mark totally lol. jurassic park changed the game for cinema, and this is the review they gave??

  • I saw Jurassic Park in the theater when I was about three or four years old. It scared the crap out of me.

  • @spielbergfan1992 I mean better than that waste of film.

  • Ya know i've really lost respect for ebert over the years. I know its his opinion, but how is it jurassic park is a 3 star mediocre review. But the phantom menace is 3 and a half stars and a glowing review. yes i just said that, go check his website. Even if you don't think jp is a gr8t movie. you got to admit it that wastes of film.

  • favorite movie of all time

  • I remember watching this with my family in seaside oregon at the theater. I remember liking Malcolm. However, when I read the book many years later I wondered how I ever liked him. He's opinionated and self-absorbed. He's hard to like. But then after reading more of Crichton's books I can see it was Michael that was speaking. Michael often writes books with a theme that's centered on humans and their misguided ambitions.

  • Roger Ebert needs to get eaten by a T-Rex

  • @VirtualBoy500 In all seriousness, though, I don't agree with Siskel and Ebert that the movie is too scary for young kids. It has frightening elements, to be sure, but I think it can provide a unique thrill to the kids. It doesn't create an atmosphere of fear, per se, it's more of a high, the sense that you are following the characters on a dangerous odyssey, and enjoying the dangers in a way that the characters cannot.

....so, yeah, thumbs up from me!

  • This movie caused me to have an obsession with dinosaurs which lasted until I was about 13. My parents used to jokingly tell me that the reason this film had such a strong influence on me was because my mom was pregnant with me when she saw the film.

Then I realized that I was born six months before this movie was released.

So unless my parents had a time machine, I believe I have caught them in a lie.

    .................finally! ;)

  • it is funny they both gave it thumbs up but they said more negitive then bad
