@Parapon3ra In battle, though, a woman is more feared because she won't hesitate to kill what threatens her children. Look at the female bear, she is more deadly when she has her cub for she will fight to protect it's life. Sad that men then forget who gave him life. A Russian once said to me: "Your mother brought you into the world & she can take you out". A frightening thought that. Julia Ecklar's song "The Female of the Species" Women in Celtic cultures wasn't considered weak.

@DailyDoseofDeception Thanks, hope you had a happy Yule and welcomed the return of the light as well.

Such an appropriate song! Leave it to Disney to introduce Pagan concepts in "Pocahontas." Loved this song for a very long tine now.

@Parapon3ra I have had a personal experience with a very loving fairylike Queen of the Earth Element, who I identify as one of my Goddesses. She loves me.
I have been to Faeryland once. I have made my own faery world which I explore. I have a sort of "imaginary friend" (only she's not imaginary, I created a faery). Her name's Xandra and I love her very much.
That's why I believe.

@Parapon3ra That's your opinion. You may have it. But don't try to change anyone else.
No, women are not weak. If you look in the history books of ancient civilizations and that, you will find female warriors and strong, powerful queens.
Technology isn't bad, but it isn't EVERYTHING. I love my computer, but I would give it up for the sake of my family or my pets. The people I love are more important than technology to me.

Ignorance is not bliss. the history of orthodox religions has been filled with horror and too many atrocities to even comprehend. I've seen nothing but a love a humanity and the earth come from the pagan community. If this is ignorant, evil, and the work of "satan", then call me "ignorant", call me "evil", call me a "satanist', but this is the world I choose......
I have watched the first 3 parts of this series and I really must commend those who put it together. I have gotten a better understanding of what Pagans are all about. Until now I had considered them (because of those I had encountered before) to be a trendy bunch who liked to play dress up and be viewed as different form those stodgy Christians. But after watching these vids, I realized that I myself hold on to many beliefs common to Pagans.Thanks.

@lekocafe Thanks for watching. The videos get better and more involved the more it goes on. I recommend watching the documentary I directed called "American Pagans".

It is, btw, especially ironic that most nature worshippers seem to be women. Apparently they don't realize that by making them the breeders of the species, and burdening them with an especially uncomfortable and dangerous childbearing process (compared to for example egg laying animals), nature fucked them over hard & good. And to add insult to injury, it also made them smaller, meeker, and weaker than men, which made patriarchy and millennia of rape and oppression more or less inevitable.

@Parapon3ra So I've read all of the comments you've left on this video and after the comments I read from today I've decided that you just go on videos that you already know you will disagree with and go off on some self-righteous, holier than thou tangent about how the person in the video is wrong because of xyz. Why do you go and watch videos that you really have no interest in watching? SURPRISE! You don't have all the answers. The Pagans in this thread don't care what you have to say.
