Etihad Airways press conference - Farnborough Airshow 2010 (Etihad Airways)

Etihad Airways' Chief Executive Officer James Hogan and Airbus President and CEO Tom Enders participate in a handover ceremony at Farnborough International Air Show, celebrating the first A330-200 freighter aircraft to be produced.

Etihad is the launch customer of the A330-200 freighter aircraft, which will enter service for Etihad's cargo business, Etihad Crystal Cargo, in September.

The press conference was held onboard the aircraft itself.

James Hogan also gave an update on Etihad's business, reporting encouraging double digit growth in the first half of 2010, with passenger numbers up 11 per cent. He also announced that the airline will commence operations to the South Korean capital, Seoul, on December 12, 2010.
جيمس هوجن الرئيس التنفيذي للاتحاد للطيران إلى جانب الرئيس والمدير التنفيذي لشركة إيرباص توم إنديرس خلال مراسم تسلم طائرة الشحن من طراز A330-200 الأولى من نوعها في معرض فارنبورو الجوي الدولي.

وتعتبر الاتحاد للطيران العميل الأول لإطلاق هذا الطراز من الطائرات A330-200، والتي ستدخل الخدمة في قسم كريستال للشحن في شهر سبتمبر/أيلول.

وقدّم جيمس هوجن موجزاً عن آخر مستجدات العمل لدى الاتحاد للطيران، معلناً عن نتائج مشجعة بنمو في خانتين رقميتين في النصف الأول من العام 2010، مع ارتفاع عدد المسافرين إلى 11 بالمئة. أعلن أيضاً أن الشركة ستباشر عملياتها إلى سيئول عاصمة كوريا الجنوبية، في 12 ديسمبر/كانون الأول 2010.
