I grew up during the triplets golden era. They where guys you could actually look up to unlike many today. I think Texan hospitality, loyalty, respect rubbed off on them and I know for certain there character rubbed off on us Texan's. They are certainly and forever Texans no matter what.

Good to see such positive comments from Skins fans! I felt the same way when Art Monk got in the HOF. Long overdue and the best HOF speech ever.

MOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO
OOSE!!!!! -
As a childhood fan who watched Tom Landry and the Cowboys win only the thanksgiving game go to an all star team was tremendous. I was then as I am now a moose fan. He made all those yards possible for Emmet and he admits that. Great class for him to be humble and show that he didn't do it all by himself.

I do not like the cowboys at all but you cannot deny that Smith is the greatest of all time!

They don't put a lot of fullbacks in the Hall of Fame, but two of the physically toughest guys I've ever seen on a football field were Tom Rathman and Daryl Johnston, both fullbacks. I think you can easily make a case for both of them getting into the HOF.

As a skins fan I say Moose Johnston for the HOF..

Class act from both players. And Mooooose to the HOF!

Arguably the best backfield tandem ever....go cowboys!
I may never have loved or even liked the Cowboys I've always respected them, and Emmit and Daryl represent what is best, not only in the NFL, but men. Not only the natural skills and heart, but pride coupled with humility. This is something lacking in so many of these trash-talking, show-boating players these days. A real Champion represents all these best qualities in all of us. And that is why we love them.

Thanks...every now and then sports manages to get it right. Just as impressive is the fact he did it without notes (he memorized all 2,945 words).
