@CipherPol13 Oh jesus christ, it is canon regardless. It is carrying on the story where DBZ left off. So now matter what anyone else says, it is canon.

@CipherPol13 there are the ultimate rights holders and production companies, but none of them have ever come out and said, “Look upon ye’ official canonicalness!” and pointed over to a very specific number and type of books. No-one has ever blatantly said, for example, “movies don’t count” or “GT never happened”. Neither has the creator said anything in the slightlest about this. He did say however : Dragon ball; It's the anime and the manga.

@CipherPol13 Something doesn't have to be written by the original creator for it to be canon you know. Toriyama has never came out and flat out said what is or isnt canon. Infact, I highly doubt he even knows what that word means. Canon is whatever you want to make it out to be when it comes to dragon ball. Dragon ball has no canon
