Layout update/ for sale 12-24-2011

Layout update. Let me know if you are interested in buying one of my train cars or if you want more info on them let me know and i will tell you. Those SD60I's are nice i got myself one from Big four hobbies for about $200 if you can find one for much less than it's a good deal. The only thing i dont like about it is the motor is extremely noisy and it sometimes can be heard over the sound decoder.

@CSX1123 The one i might get is used. It is missing handrail and needs new lights but for $50 a little bit of work it will still be a really good deal. It would be a good project to try out installing lights and brass handrails.

The cars look good! How did you make the static grass machine?

@railfanfromiantha Thanks! Thebige61 has a video on youtube of how to make one of the static grass applicators. it is a pretty simple project.

It's looking real good! the grass! all you have to do is mix it! use different colors so ti doesn't look so uniform.

@allaboard321 For $50 i would buy it in a heartbeat the way you describe the condition it wouldn't even cost alot to fix it up the handrails on the athearn locos suck i took mine off and installed brass handrails. Im in the process of building a GP30 and it is pretty fun to play around with the lighting affects and adding all the details and it is actually some what easy. Goodluck with it.

Great video your layout looks great! i would mix the static grass.
