Well, here's a Friend Battle using the Anton Pass, so now you get to see their nicknames! Some connect to the Pokémon pretty clearly, and some are obscure. If you want to know, "Mobius" is a genus of rays, which is why I named Mantine as Moby. It has nothing to do with Moby Dick.
The person I was battling against also had a new pass and is Octogeddon from here on YouTube. It's not any of the Friend Code Contest winners right now...which is kind of odd because prior to this, I was constantly battling against the winners before anyone else.
Now, Kangaskhan is pretty unique, and you'll see why from the beginning: Because of the Scrappy ability, Kangaskhan is the only Pokémon able to use Fake Out on a Ghost Pokémon and cause it to flinch. I noticed a fair amount of Ghost Pokémon with Focus Sash attached to them, like Gengar, because people feel they're safe from attacks like these. You'll also get to see my Abomasnow in action--I merely sent her out on my last battle with this team, but here's, she's out from the start and never gets switched out. Abomasnow's large number of weaknesses means it's pretty risky to bring one out, but boy, does Abomasnow bring on the hurt!
Octogeddon's Shiftry was the biggest surprise of this match though. You'll see a move never used in a serious way until now, and it's used to simultaneously knock out Kangaskhan AND Abomasnow. Granted, its probably very situational and this is that situation where it's at its best, but it sure threw me for a loop.
I used Sequoia (Abomasnow), Adelaide (Kangaskhan), Clayborne (Ditto), and Raymondo (Nidoking). Octogeddon used Lopunny, Cruella (Froslass), Tiberius (Luxray), and Sakura (Shiftry). Isn't Cherrim a sakura flower though?
Wait a minute... When your opponent uses Explosion to defeat your last Pokémon, doesn't that mean YOU WIN?

@DBCDude01 No, not in online PBR.

That Shiftry really had some odd moves-- I would see it knowing Razor Leaf at a lower level, but on PBR???
That Explosion I really thought was incredible though!
And why not use Transform Ditto into Shifrty just in case it pulls out another grass move? Wouldn't it have been more effective to have a matchup where Shiftry would have an attack that doesn't affect you as much?

@zacheatstacos You have to think in terms of the offensive as well as the defensive. A Ditto can withstand hits like a beast once it uses Transform, but it's not going to be very useful unless it can also contribute to knocking stuff out.

@Overhazard I see your point there... But does Ditto copy its opponents stats then too? I thought It would keep its regular stats but just take the moves, and Dittos tend to not have the best stats.

@zacheatstacos Ditto copies the target Pokémon's stats.
