LaSardo studied with the famed Stella Adler, not Stella Dallas.
I love RAL's work. To me, he is the modern day John Cazale (Al Pacino's bank robber partner in DOG DAY AFTERNOON).
LaSardo doesn't play the bad guy parts over-the-top: his are nuanced performances. The fact that he dials back the "anger" in his bad guy characters creates such immense tension.
I would LOVE to see him play a tortured soul type character like Cazale's in DOG DAY. It would be sheer brilliance, to be sure!

Believe or not this great actor graduated with honors from one of the most prestigious acting schools in the world "The High School of Performing Arts in NYC" as well as from "The Stella Dallas Acting School" he can play real bastards (Nip/Tuck) or caring strugling father (Judging Amy) he has way better acting skills than any of those cute so call young actors from Hollywood (Patterson?)
