- in summer '96, ABC broadcast a song from the previous summer's second show at Great Woods, performed on 07-01-95, as part of their "In Concert" music series.
Phish.net details a broadcast in early June '96, this VHS recording was captured on August 29th of that year.

Hopefully all the footage from the lawn screens from the many Great Woods shows they've played since '93 will see a dvd release someday -- & of course for every other summer amphitheater show as well! - would be very phine

@wolfsbro2 I could not have said it better myself. Folks would always say to me "they are like the Grateful Dead" HELL NO they are not! Especially comparing the Dead and Phish in the 90s. At this point, Jerry couldn't even read the teleprompter. Sad. But, that's the way I would explain Phish to people "tight", "dead on". p.s. it helps to have been at this show! Glad I took their advice, and lived while I was young.

Damn that was tight. I mean I know it's "only" Bouncing but geez, that was PERFECT. Always fun to listen to early/mid 90's stuff when they nailed every single note every single night. And Trey and Fish looking the way they look...now THAT'S classic Phish right there. Thanks again silverchair!

Also: BATR is a GREAT F#@KING SONG! Try *listening* to it before dismissing it. There was a time it was new and some of us found it just as trippy as everything they did.

Wow that's a cool upload. Makes me imagine a young child watching the news with his family ... at first thinking 'these guys seem lame; then 'i'll listen to the song to see just how cheesy and fake they are' then being stuck in the groove, led along by the interlocking rhythms of four instruments, caught in the loop of voices singing in sequence, then realizing 'wow i was enjoying that ... who are these guys ... i wonder what those concerts are like'
