@RationalGaze9 My friend worked at the local gym here and ive seen huge guys like 260 pound ripped body builders using 40's why i made the joke , also it seems all this jersey shore fad is making most body builders turn to roids from the get go when honestly all you need is weigh protein , proper diet and dedication to get results i myself am 180 , was 195 n chuby and now use 30's for high reps for the same reasons you just stated, to get toned and to build lean mass . keep at it!
ya i was joking , why i said it was more than possible to get your size and deffinition with small weights because don't take offence but you were a bit chuby in some of your old sleep terror vids , ive been following your music for about 5 years. If you got a bit of meat to you and you work with high reps and comfortable weight you'l get toned and still look big , if you start out at 150 and get to look like your size and still use small weights then its usualy roids .
@Hezus3Christo, i'd like to see your friend's form if he's curling 70 on those. Isolated movements give far better results to me with moderate weight and higher reps. I am not interested in pure strength. It's about body sculpting and building lean mass.
@PestVic its called roids :P ... nah its possible but usualy if you see big guys lifting small weights thats usualy the case , my friend is 170 and can lift 70 pounds in each arm in those bicep curls with no roids ... just took 5 years of his life , depends on how long hes been training for plus he was a bit chubby i think befor he started working out which makes it more possible that he hasn't used anything to get that size , he just got toned from being a bit chuby who knows
