And what you feel isn't 'love' necessarily for him, it's love for the sex itself! Guess/hope we all know that, but still, the problem is there! When are we tricking ourselves/or being tricked into a relationship because it seens more 'right' or 'appropiate' (like with Sookie/Bill), and almost always one of the two involved will get more or less hurt, because sex is one of the main roads to the heart!

True Blood deals with that ... multiplied!

Like it's an isolated independent thing, it isn't ... imo.

More like when you are 'taken over' by your own emotions (this is what the Blod symbolizes, multiplied), especially the erotic ones, we get confused, because we always want the feelings together (the Blod Bond can represent this wanting of the true intentions, multiplied)!

They seldom are and the 'blod thing' prays on that!

Sookie is unable to distinguish between the real emotions and the ones 'stirred' up by the blood, which more or less could be the very same or quite different. Eric apparantly wants to be in on the Sookie-lottery and places a bet using the situation in hand! Bill has preyed on Sookies ignorance, Eric never intended to (but this would have taken him three weeks, if ever, to explain to her). Of course it is dramatized and sure he enjoyed it, humor is one of Eric best features besides the obvious!

I'm thinking in retrospect here! What did we actually knew at this point! But always thought of the blood as a catalyst, so I wasn't so upset with Eric! The blood isn't the cause of the effect, the blood speeds up things, it taps into to the persons compatibility level with the vampire. If not interested it won't grow, but if you are it IS, accordingly to your 'real' emotions, wheter you like it or not! Bill is scared because he knows he only had a chance as long as Sookie didn't know that!
