what the donkey poo is stage 2? what makes it a stage 2 may i aks, like i got a 04 mk4 gti with the 1.8t, garrett gt28 turbo, ecs tuning chip, 3.25" eurojet turbo back exhaust, 750cc rc injectors, msd ignition upgrade, big 3 wire upgrade, matrix lowering springs, tokico whites, what stage am i?

@xXxCDxProDuCtiiOnz A stage 2 is an ECU tune that takes into account a modified exhaust/intake. When the car's ECU "knows" you have a freeflowing exhaust, the Check Engine Light won't turn on, and the car won't jump into limp mode.

i cant believe how wrong you guys all are about the stages of a 1.8t

stage1 = tune + diverter valve + turbo inlet hose (optional)

stage2 = full exhaust + FMIC (pretty much)

stage3 = turbo swap (and other things)

do a little research guys c'mon

you guys gotta stop hating because even with my stock ko3s which is properly tuned and a couple of bolt ons such as a downpipe, hoses and a dv i kick ass hard

stage 2 is 20psi on the stock ko3s turbo with 93 pump... stage 1 is usually 14-15 psi rather than the factory 12psi on 91 octane... stage 3 is anything from a ko4 on up even tho ko4s are still small as hell
