Handley Page Victor K2 tanker making two fast taxi runs at Elvington airfield near York in April 2008. This plane was used in the Falkland conflict to refuel the Vulcan bomber during it's mission to blow up Stanley airfield.

  • Such a shame there is no other funding for these excellent aircraft to make them fly at airshows,, i miss them not flying no more, least the Vulcan is flying though !!

  • Just love the wailing noise of the Conways.

Can't imagine what it must be like to be up close when she starts up!!

  • Excellent day out

I was the poor unfortunate camerman at the edge of the runway. Hit by the jet efflux, hit by all kinds of debris, and almost lost my camera into the field (along with the runway tarmac than lindy churned up)

What a blast, can't wait to do it again!
