Only at the end of a hot summer is the lake warm enough to swim in on the North Shore...and even then it takes a hot day to make you want to try it! This was a perfect day at Gooseberry Falls State Park with huge waves that made these pictures look more like an ocean coast than an ice-cold lake! The kids had so much fun!

never been to lake superior shore, but i've defintely been to lake michigan shore cuz i live around the corner in a beach house.
