Cellist Alisa Weilerstein performs Dvořák Cello Concerto in B minor, Op. 104, with Simón Bolívar Symphony Orchestra, conducted by Gustavo Dudamel. Recorded at Simón Bolívar Hall, December 8, 2009.
@ThaSchwab I saw her there. While I don't have the best memory, I feel like she performed better with Nott and the Cleveland Orchestra than with Dudamel.
Nevertheless, an outstanding performance on her part.
I've never seen this cellist play, nor have I ever heard her actually play (though she did play within 100 miles of me when she played this concerto with the CSO), and now I can. No better concerto to hear. :)
