Christ came Lillibeth because the law declared us guilty already, and he came to die and pay the penalty for our sins so that all who believe can receive the forgiveness of sins. He came to remove our sin and to specifically die on the cross for them.

Mar 5:34 And he said unto her, Daughter, thy faith hath made thee whole; go in peace, and be whole of thy plague.
There are many many verses that speak of faith saving a person. Faith in Christ, believing in him is what saves, or lack of belief is what condemns because you're already guilty.
