United and the Los Angeles Galaxy), SuperLigaT crowns the top team of the region and offers an unprecedented one million dollars in prize money to the champion. The eight teams will face off in Chicago, Dallas, Denver, Houston, Los Angeles and Washington, D.C with the winner being crowned on Aug. 29 in a yet to be announced venue.

Who cares?? They're both 'Chivas' and are owned by the same person or company. Personally, I'm grateful to whoever thought about brining the Chivas name to MLS because 1)They created the first intercity rivalry or 'derby' with the Galaxy. 2)They're one of the best teams in the west and 3)They've produced some good names in their club- Razov, Klestjan, Guzan, Galindo, and the list goes on.

And why was FC Dallas chosen as one of the 4. They were the only MLS club chosen which has never won an MLS Cup or Supporter's Sheild and never played in the CONCACAF. DC's won CONCACAF and Interliga, LA's won CONCACAF and Houston's at least been there. Strange choice of teams. Hell they should have invited Chivas USA so we could then have Chivas vs Chivas.
