my 78 luv bearly use to burn rubber but now it doesnt cuz the rims weigh to much haha
-
both it has no middle range its got huge balls for towing and climbing and stuff but the top end is where you get the speed that motor revs i shift at 6800 rpms on a stock motor my luv truck with 33 on it blow the doors off those fing civics and stuff
hey im fixin my luv truck up, and within the next year im goiing to be putting a more powerful engine in it, because the old four-banger aint doin so good, so waht engine would you reccomend? something that has power but also good mileage, and something i dont have to buff up to frame too much too

2.8 chevy out of an older camaro or a 3.8 chvey the smaller v6s fit in really well i put a sweet 370 hp 2.8 in a luv and it hauled ass and got really good gas milage like 27 and im putting a fuel injected 4.3 chevy s10 motor in one right now it fits pretty good but i changed the frame

If I dropped a 3.8 V6 in one of these, what mpg's do you think that it would get? Would it get good mpg's with a 305. Someone comment back please.

@washcloths hey it would get pretty good if it was fuel injected the older carb 3.8 were about 18-22 the new 3.8s get 22-28 but in a chevy luv it probably would get 30 cause it is lighter and that truck would hall but it would be reaLLY FAST
