Scary! But for some odd reason, the scene where the single sparrow comes out of the fireplace scared me as a kid. I have no idea but that sparrow scared me a lot.

these were real birds, you can look up on wikipedia

das is lächerlich :DDDDD

Apparently that scene was as real as they came because she was in a small room with birds being launched at her out of boxes and she ended up with one of them peck underneath her eye and she recieved a cut under her left eye

Marc, I like the coordination of the score breaking to her audible woes and the score matching her wincing especially the leg movement. It was genius how you matched her doorknob grip with your music. This was a real treat to watch. Wow, Tippi !

@LyleLincoln: Thank you for very kind and thoughtful comments. I did a fair amount of research not only to scoring styles of that period but also studied editing techniques too. I was lucky to have the ASU orchestra and Henry Charles Smith. They did a very fine job with the score.

great score!
I especially liked the bit at 1:30-1:33, reminded me a lot of John Williams
Excellent job, keep it up!

Great original score! I remember reading that Alfred Hitchcock and Bernard Herman got into many matches about when and when not to use music in some of the Hitchcock movies! And most of the time Hitch got what he wanted! ( I know that this movies score was a very elaborate orchestrated sound effects score but I did enjoy hearing it with a musical score! Thanks for all the effort and for posting this! Dave D.

@T0MMY2GUNS: Thanks. I appreciate your kind thoughts. I met Tippi a few years back and she thought I was some kind of nut, but she enjoyed seeing her most-famous scene with an orchestral score.
