The drummer: David Crigger. He was auditioning that day. Was offered the gig and turned it down. Having the 2 on the Town film crew there was an unexpected bit of pressure. Crigger played with Don Ellis and Passport, among many others. He's an LA guy. Unless some Other drummer was there for some OTHER 2 on the Town bit ;-)

Hey Blackpage, This is probably before Wackerman came in. Thunes auditioned in the summer of '81.
During the three day audition Frank told Scott "You're good enough to record" and had him cut some studio tracks..This info is from Tom Wictor's book Interviews with really scary musicians, half the book being about Thunes time with Zappa. Be cool and have a good evening

I would think thats Ahmet. Dweezil and Moon were older, and Diva either was just a baby then or not even born yet (not sure of the year she was born). Plus it looks like him to.
