John and Yoko's Montreal Bed-In - 40th Anniversary (1969-2009)

This is Radio-Canada footage of John and Yoko's arrival in Montreal for their bed-in (May 26, 1969 to June 2, 1969; "Give Peace a Chance" was recorded on June 1, 1969 - see: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=OF91o0HenhU ), held in Room 1742 of the Queen Elizabeth Hotel. The event will be commemorated at a special exhibition of the Montreal Museum of Fine Arts (Musée des Beaux-Arts de Montréal) from May 26 to June 21, 2009.

I love the ignorance of people - thinking that any person has the power to "change" another. People don't change unless they are open to the change or in other words, unless they WANT to change.

Ms. Ono has displayed more character in the face of derogation from small-minded people than any of her detractors could ever hope to achieve. And the man behind the music, loved her with all of his heart.

I like the Bed in film I saw where a journalist has a go at Yoko for changing john and agree to some extent.....she aint one of my fave people .
