This is the closing hymn from tonights worship service. On Wed. night we do the same service as we do on the next Sunday. And this Sunday is Christ The King Sunday, so this hymn is really good for that. We had about 25 people there tonight, and they can really sing !

The tune name is DIADEMATA, and it is one of my favorites.

  • You are having so much fun during playing this hymn - all listeners must be infected now! I enjoyed it very much. But I for my part would never make recordings while I am playing a mass. Neverthless keep on that good work and make Joy to sing!

  • @organgoesheavy Thank you for the compliment . I'm just wondering why you would not make a recording while playing a service ? Sure, you get any mistakes recorded and can not re-do it, but I think that it captures the feel of the hymn best with the congregation singing. Also, I am real proud of how well my congregation sings. It is a genuine pleasure to play for them !

  • Wow! In F! You should consider lowering for the people who have trouble getting those high notes. Nice modulation down. Do you write out your arrangements? I would buy them!

  • Thanks for the compliments ! My church sings so well that they can deal with most keys. However, I probably wont do this one in F again. I pretty much make up my own arrangements but do not write them out. None of them are really that complicated. Send me a PM and I can tell you how I did this one.

  • WOW! Thank you so much for posting these videos! Your enthusiasm while playing is exciting and refreshing and your registrations and use of this instrument are master class. A very good example of how Allens are NOT the duds that so many people make them out to be. Bravo!

  • Thanks for the compliments ! Allen organs are most certainly not Duds. One has to take the time to get to know what any organ is capable of and then Use it. I have to say that I am more pleased with this Allen than I would be with a comparably priced pipe organ. All the options are so much fun to use.

  • Very nice!!! Is this Catholic?

  • Any mistakes do not matter. While playing a mass I want to be concentrated and my focus is to be a part of the celebration and not game around with recording equipment. Nevertheless I like to listen Your joyfull organ playing.

  • Very nice! It seems like playing in F would be very difficult for most congregations (and pretty amusing to hear), but your congregation can handle it pretty well!

  • That Allen organ sounds great!

  • nice playing on that organ....

  • Praise His mighty name

  • nice arrangement...like the sound of the organ too

  • I could never sing this high without giving myself a Rupture (Hernia)...
