Kohl's Cares A Minute for Kids sports safety commercial

This year, Dayton Children's will be receiving $176,194 from the Kohl's Cares ® program to support the 2011 Kohl's A Minute for Kids Campaign. Since 2000 Kohl's Department Stores has donated more than $1,341,281 to Dayton Children's through their Kohl's Cares® program.

Data drawn from Dayton Children's emergency department reveals that thousands of injuries related to play, including sports, playground and wheeled injuries, could be prevented each year. The purpose of the 2011-2012 campaign is not only to inform children but also their parents, caregivers and coaches that injuries are not "part of the game."
