  • Can I do this in Visual Studio Ultimate 2010?

  • you spelled "Console" wrong

  • what symbol is that?

  • @forgottenmemories63 The code in this video is basically the next step up from just learning the basics of the language. I don't think many people came here expecting to be able to make wow in a day, and those that did probably wouldn't have stuck around that long to read the comments. Game makers/engines are fine if you don't mind sacrificing control and flexibillity for simplicity. Also if they ever stopped developing rpgm your skills would be next to useless. I can't see C going any time soon

  • @DaKrazyKatt Well, Even if that's the case, You could opt for 3D Game Makers which you coudl easily get a hold of. What I'm saying is it takes a whole lot of time (Perhaps Months and Years) to develop your own game using Basic Programming Languages, Which could instead, simply be developed using Game Engines.

  • @forgottenmemories63 I think the point of such a simple program is to get people into the feel of programming rather than actually making a full blown rpg. Hence the reason most people are here is to learn how to code. I doubt many people are seriously going to try and develop a proffessional looking rpg in a console window, the '70's are over man

  • @batch09master lol yea

I managed to find that out when I watched part 2 :P

  • @TrueGamerNET the C programming family is in just about every device you can think of. So you should be able to use any computer to write code, you just need to get dev C++ for the code that he is using.
