I'm not religious, but this is a great story of a human overcoming their drug addiction. I think that he should give himself a little more credit for being able to stop but, whatever, at least he's clean. He put on a hell of a show at the homerun derby.

i read his book 3 months ago. what a great comeback story. if you ever want to find an example of a good-hearted, genuine, human being... his name is Josh Hamilton! more than being a baseball fan, i'm a Christian. this guy is using his past everyday to reach out to others. children and adults alike can look up to hambone as a very special person. his book will put a grown man in tears.

The true greats don't need steroids. And don't tell me to "be quiet" until you have mastered the wonder that is basic sentence structure.
And the last time I checked, this is America and I am allowed to leave my pinions anywhere I want.

Be quiet you obviously don't watch baseball. Bonds is one of the greatest ever with or without steroids leave your bias opinion elsewhere.

Josh Hamilton is NOTHING like Barry Bonds. Bonds is a cheater and a disgrace to the game.

It is no coincidence that Jesus is the fingerprint on overcoming anything. Philippians 4:13 "I can do all things through Him who gives me strength". I praise God for the witness this man has been given as beauty from ashes. God is real, still more awesome than we can understand. Jesus is! John 14:6!
GOD IS REAL!!!!! REAL!!!! REAL!!!
