That console looks like it could be converted to stereo since it has twin 2-way speakers and RCA offered that during the era when that system was made. Johnny Mathis sounds just right for that system. Great song!

It does have 2 12" full range and two tweeters. all the original schematics, directions , and some literature for updating to stereo. RCA offered to swap out the changer for a stereo model, and an additional amp and extension speaker system . I was surprised they just didn't offer to rewire the tonearm and update the cartridge. This console also had provisions for adding the AM FM tuner.

@maynardcat mine has a stereo amp and cart. but was ment to use a second cabinet speaker that I don,t have so I slit the wiring in the main console for stereo 1 woofer and tweeter for each channel.
the unit also has the tuner but it is mono as fm stereo was not out yet

@force311999 Some RCA early stereo models were meant to have the matching extension speaker.
This one is stereo adaptable, but requires an additional amp & cartridge upgrade. I found an ext floor model speaker that has a similar look to this console for 20.00 It had a single 12" woofer with the dual angled tweeters. The cabinet is similar but smaller, & doesn't have the real mahogany finish like the console, and to my surprise, is some type of formica finish that looks like mahogany..
