What can I say except this is scary. "He runs this town"? And she cares about impressing this man? Should I even bother making references to disasters in history when people revered someone with power and began throwing their freedom and common sense at his feet? How does this make sense? Who stands to profit most when all our nation's schools begin using taxpayer money to buy unmitigated amounts of technology to keep up with the standards Gates helped develop?

This all sounds very reasonable. But she doesn't just talk to Gates, she takes money from him. She neglects to mention that. "Microsoft runs this town." Damn, she spoke the truth for a moment. This from a woman who claims to believe in democracy. Perhaps if she asks real nice, he'll give us our country back.
