as a drummer, it took me a few times to get past that there wasn't anything else besides guitar, piano, and loops with some synth...but then i started really listening to it as worship music and stopped being critical, and this song took me to a new place...LOVE IT

coming from a church that explores music and is wanting to try new things, in the end it doesnt even matter. i want to slap any legalistic conservative person saying this is a hook and its satans work.. this music is beautiful and they are playing to the best of their abilities.. it actually says play skillfully in the bible.. so go ahead.. play your best! have fun, dance when on stage.. lift your hand in praise.. this is what God wants to see! that your heart is in it 100%

@CT2790 Im a sound guy from my church and i prefer guitar, bass, drums and keys as well :) This is just different... But Still glorifying right :) so its good

And if we're honest some are just more fun. Ie Piano and choir might usher in the presence of God just as well as guitar, bass, drums, and keys (synth etc) but I definitely prefer the latter. I'm not gonna say something doesn't honor simply because I don't like the style of it. If it ultimately terminates Jesus its worship. (said the guitar player) :D

@slickboii28 And don't judge them. the only time you CAN judge them is if you are God.....which you obviously aren't. So unless you give encouragement to these people that want to praise God whether OTHER CHRISTIANS like it or not, please don't be a discouraging figure to them, and the figures around us. And okay if your pentecostal, great. Some people may not be. That doesn't mean they're not saved. We're all followers of Christ.
