If you have a cold the body produces warrior antibodies to fight off the cold viruses. So yes the test cannot prove HIV, it just shows that there is a threat present in the body. However, explain all the deaths that are the result of HIV so said infections that have been conclusive with positive test when there are no physical signs of sickness.
