  • You don’t need to have a 4X4 to get to the crater. You will need high clearance to get to the Race Track

  • Is it not possible to get there without a 4x4?

  • Cool, I've been to Ubehebe and the Race Track, plus a bunch of other places in Death Valley. I recommend going in the winter or early spring. We saw 3 or 4 vehicle with flat tires on the way to the Race Track. we took the long dirt road from Lone Pine!
