    Wow, I haven't seen this commercial since I was 6 years old! I remember wanting a Cabbage Patch Kid so bad that year. I finally got my first one for Valentine's Day '84. Thanks for posting! :)

    Did you know that they had to pull THIS EXACT AD from TV when the craze was in full swing, according to ABC News? In a video on their site, the ad plays after someone gets put on a hospital truck, when the person says that ads were pulled from TV for the doll, and guess what? They showed it on screen! You could only hear the last few seconds clearly, which is why I came here, looking for the ad they showed on ABC News and here it is! Thanks for your help!
