Youre Gone

Youre gone. I thought that you would never leave
But you showed me otherwise and now baby I believe

Now I hurt like a child, on a toy less Christmas Eve
And its all my fault, because I chose to deceive

To deceive you and play games with your mind and heart
I took your love for granted thinking wed never part

Youre gone, and now Im just broken inside
I wanna cry but I wont, because of my pride

I let something good go. You were waiting for me
Baby please come back. Take away the lonely

I know so many times before , that Ive done you wrongly
Fucking other women, thinking that was manly

I ignored you and made you feel like you were nothing
Now youre gone and I think Im dying aint that something

I let you down for something that was never true
Now Im saying to myself, Stupid, how could you?

How could you hurt the one, who truly loved you
The one you truly loved and should have held onto?

Youre gone, but baby give me one more chance
The door to your heart, is only my entrance

You know you still love me, and you know I love you
Baby please dont bid our love adieu

I know Ive messed up time and time again
But down on my knees I do descend

Youre gone, and baby that just wont do
I didnt know what else to do, so I prayed for you

With my hands clasped, I look up to the sky
Praying to the Lord that hell hear my cry

Down on my knees, I pray to God
That hed help me to somehow not be so flawed

That hed help me to treat you the way that you deserve
That somehow this union hed see fit to preserve

Youre gone and baby Im lost without you
Baby please come back to help me make it through

Through this maze of despair, that I caused on myself
I promise from this day forth, its you and no one else

That will have my love that will have my affection
Without you my heart is my bodys own prison

They say you never miss a good thing till its gone away
I understand that now. Please come home okay

Youre gone, but baby that just wont do
Please come back. I want I need baby I love you
