Hi, I'm John Allison.
I'm a Visual Journalism senior at Michigan State University.
This is my demo reel. It features projects I've done as part of my work at the Michigan State University Physical Plant, as well as other projects like the Rare Isotope Rap (Made for the MSU Cyclotron's Facility for Rare Isotope Beams addition). It also has a moving slide show of some of the images I've produced, stop on any of them to take a better look!
Programs I use: Blender, Adobe Everything (Photoshop, Illustrator, Premiere, Flash, AFX, InDesign, SoundBooth), ArcGIS, AutoCAD, Google SketchUp, 3DEM (Digital Elevation Modelling), MapPublisher, and I'm dabbling in 3DS Max right now.
I currently work in the MSU Physical Plant Communications department, making virtual tours and other videos, as well as some interactive flash for the Be Spartan Green environmental campaign on campus. Check it out: http://www.youtube.com/user/PhysicalPlantMSU
I'm also working for the MSU Physics department to create a planetarium show focusing on Dark Matter and how we explore the world of particle physics on the MSU campus and at the European Organization for Nuclear Research (CERN).
