  • Jimmy really was a soulful musician and a soulful man as well. I'll be posting more footage of gigs we did together this week. Also, I have posted some wonderful still photos of Jimmy on my facebook page. My page is "Johhny Fab" and the photos are in the "Jimmy Baum" folder, if you want to check them out. Peace....

  • @mrjfab So sorry about the news. My husband and I met Jimmy many years ago and can see now and then how many lives he touched with his talent, kindness and sweet ways. It seemed from everything I have read many comments about Gayle ,and am saddened he seemed to lived a life with her that i'm sure was a very torturous one. Now he can finally be at peace.

  • R.I.P Sweet Soul...

  • I played in bands with Jimmy in the 80s.The Cooper House, local clubs, casuals etc. I loved Jimmy, he was great to be around, kind , hilariously funny and a wonderful drummer.I also knew Gayle. She was really nice, highly intelligent and accomplished. It breaks my heart that this is the way it ended for the two of them. What could have possibly driven her to this? I haven't lived in Santa Cruz in years, I don't have another avenue to express how deeply sorry I am about this great loss.

  • Jimmy Baum was a hot drummer with a pure soul. R.I.P Jimnmy
