  • The rollcage was bent down pinning his body to where he couldn't really move. Plus, Ryan being a husky fellow complicates it as well... :)

  • Newman if pretty friggin lucky he landed on Harvicks hood. His roll cage was already pushed down on his helmet as it was. coulda been crushed if it wasnt for that little bit of cushion

    if you look closely most of the damage from the roll cage was when he was flipping in the grass at the end not when he did the 180 flip

  • This is all because of the horrible design with that wing. Since there is a gap at the bottom, when the car is going backwards, it creates lift rather than downforce and flips the car. Way to go on that one, NASCAR R&D.
