  • i believe that he put orange drops in for the signal caps and put better quality filter caps in.

    The goal was to quiet the amp down.

    Fender's Hot Rod Series amps, being built on circuit boards, are inherently more noisy than a well built point-to-point amp.

  • im looking to mod mine soon. i was wondering when you you modded your did you have to soder(i think thats how you spell that.) anything?
